Had my Focus 2.0 on the rollers this eve on mates rates :D . Ran up at 172.7 BHP and 141 ATW. Shocked by the result  , one of the scariest things ive seen though as they show no mercy. Got a video that i'll post up later on. Just thought i'd share my joy :D

Cant wait for track time at ford fair this year :woohoo

Blu fin, de-cat, stainless manifold, stainless system with no center box and a foam piperX. I know the rollers are good un's as he mapped my old williams and got some good gains. Was thnking about getting rid, but now have changed my mind and will get some cams instead and maybe bike carb setup. Want the magic 200BHP now with a custom mp instead of the blu fin

I have got the 2.0 ESP, got piper stainless system, decat, piper fast road cams and vernier pulleys, zx3 induction kit, st170 injectors, port polished head, big end bearings and i only got 149BHP... Does a bluefin make that much difference? Im told they dont??? As yours had a remap?

Blu fin on the site claims 13bhp on the 2.0 model, felt a difference with it on. Bidding on some cams at the moment so can see the results after theyre on. Your 149BHP sounds way down for what you've had done. Who did the setup?

My cams were set up by Noble Motorsport, BHP before was 144 (they were set back up standard at a normal garage the day before as i was having some seals replaced) Noble charged £50 an hour and took x3 hours apparently and i know it doesn't take that long to adjust, they only turned the exhaust cam 9degrees, cost £170 in the end including VAT and saw a 4BHP increase :x

They then told me i will see a more increase if i have another remap?

They sound a bit sh*t to be honest. Finding a good mapper is difficult. I'll have a check with the guy i used and see how much he'd charge including a proper map.

Either that or if your near the rochdale area we'll swap the blu fin over to your car and see how it feels

I live in Rotherham, my focus is currently off the road till march time, just in time for the multi forum meet, are you coming over? We could try it then if its straight forward? On my rolling road results after i had the cams set up, this is my graph:

Image

I was told its over fueling badly and a remap will sort that out, im losing power just under 6000RPM and then it just dies! 5250RPM onwards, its rubbish :x

i'll get a picture of the graph later on for you to see. mine makes its peak at 5900rpm, but an even curve all the way, apart from a low down flat spot due to resonance in the in let manifold caused by the piperX. Gonna switch to a st170 box and panel filter to see how it gets on.

Will probably go to the multi forum meet, takes about 10 mins to remove the blue fin from mine and swap to yours. Easy job really, plug and play :D

that sounds a little high for those mods what fuel did you run it on? my old 1800 escort Si had a shed load of mods including cossie greens and a stage 2 head along with an OBX tubular manifold and full through exhaust i know it was set up bang on and that ran 172 bhp @ 5500 rpm

Was running BP super at the time, suprised me too. Am doing a rolling road day in the next month so will see if it varys on another set of rollers, the engine is pretty much fresh though and been recently done. So not going to have lost much power from having a tired engine.

Thought it could be rollers, but the guy keeps them well calibrated as his bread and butter are porsche racing cars and a lot of elise track cars 8)

Have a video so will post with graph tonight, it regularly destroys my mates 1800 zetec so i think results are about right
