The first new appointment for the new-look site is Helen (username Nellie) who joins the Events Team for 2010, who is being thrown in at the deep end being tasked to organise our Ford Fair stand. Helen is well used to attending most national shows and events and is a very good orgainser. She joins Keiran and Duncan, and will be tasked with ensuring all payments are collected and the stand booked in plenty of time.
Congratulations Helen!
You can find more information on our Ford Fair stand in the Groups page or Forum.

The last national show of the season - Trax - wass attended by 12 cars from focusowners, and a great stand location right next to the main “pits” / trade show area. A big thank you to all those who attended and showed their cars.

focusowners.com had a fantastic showing at Ford Fair 2009 in Silverstone, with its sister site - fiestaowners.co.uk (headed by former focus owner, Reaper) - having a prime spot in the paddock area.
With over 30 focus’ on display from mk 1 to mk 2 and cc’s, this was possibly the largest club showing. Our thanks go to Events co-ordinators Drunkennosh (Duncan) and Parksie (Kieron) for all their hard work in arranging it all from tickets and stand passes to layout - organised from mk1 to mk 2.
It is always a good show to meet other club members and view their cars in the metal, and today was no exception. Even the rain that had swept the country over the past week kept away for the day! Here’s hoping that next year’s Ford Fair will be even bigger and better. Hope to see you there.
Lots of members will have taken their own pictures which should be found in the Meets & Shows Pictures section of the forum. Below is a selection from Joescamera.
Between them, ST Bean and Adam_ATR organised a rolling road day in Essex, which was attended by 6 members on Saturday 21st June. Most people came away happy with what their cars were pumping out!

Sunday May 17th saw a very strong outing for focusowners at Fiesta in the Park (FITP) organised by the Fiesta Club GB.
A big thank you goes to Duncan (Drunkennosh) and Keiran (Parksie) for making a well thought out display - and indeed to everyone who showed up early on Sunday morning in, quite frankly, terrible weather!
Some of the pictures that were taken by you have already started to appear - please do post more! The Shows & Events section have pictures taken by Joescamera; others are in the Forum.
